This week, I have started to do the actual intro cut scene that will explain the backstory of the SKEER. I think this is a good way to start the game as it throws the player in with an idea of whats going on. My partner Manny has been working on character idle animations and making all the animations fluid and pretty.

Over the weekend and the whole school year so far, I have been brainstorming ideas to make my my game the best thing possible. I have been looking up lots of different ways to make game objects interact to make things interesting. I've been playing a lot of Darkest Dungeon and it has honestly given me a lot of really good ideas. Without going into specifics about my game, I think I've thought of a way to make a scary/sad environment without having to do much work on the jump scare side of things. I have also been into making music, some of which is on the site, and I think it gets the tone across well. As always, school is lame but I love it and I want my game to be done already. So far, senior year is defeating me. The struggle of trying to apply to college and make sure all my work is done along with my extra curricular activities really comes together and makes my life suck. I am putting most of my free time into my game for Advanced Studies so that's also fun. I honestly just want to take a break but I also don't want to fail my classes so I guess I'm stuck. All in all, I'll be glad when senior year is over and I can start to hate my college workload instead of my high school one. This week, I was able to finish my Title screen animation and I am now working on the into sequence animation. I am also trying to make music for in game things (ambiance, etc.) Manny and I have been working on transferring things into Unity.
This week, in class, I was able to almost complete the title animation frames. I also did some cleaning up and revising of the music I have been working on for the past week and a half.
This week my partner and I continued to work on the game art. I have been working on music for the game as well as the title screen and some character ideas. The music has yet to be edited and finalized but I have it done. I have finished a few frames of the Title screen (seen below).
This week from Monday to Wednesday, my partner and I talked about and started to finalize the story of our game. We also decided that we should make the textures and assets first so I started doing pixel work in Adobe Photoshop and I also downloaded LMMS or Linux MultiMedia Studio and began to try to make a sound that matches the tone/mood for our game.
