This week, I have been working on getting the game assets planned out and finished. Manny and I have been talking and we finished talking about our game and we have worked out all of the discrepancies that we previously had. Things are running smoothly.

I have been doing a lot of character designs recently. I have been getting back into Yu-Gi-Oh! and the card design and gotten me into trying to make cool and unique characters. I have been drawing characters inspired by things from medieval times. I have been doing this so that I can, hopefully, transfer the things I am drawing into assets for SKEER. I really want to make SKEER feel like the time period it is set in and I think that this is a good way to help reach that goal.In the past quarter, I have been doing a lot of planning for assets. I have been trying to get better at pixel artwork so that my work for SKEER is better overall. I have been working with illusion of depth and with perspective so that I can better work on how to make SKEER look how it is supposed too. I have had some trouble with the use of colors but the issue is getting easier to deal with. This week, I have been working primarily on furniture textures so as to make the game not look so empty when it is played. I made a painting that I plan to break apart and use in other ways so that I don't have to make more and more textures. I have started making bookshelf textures and I have also been planning and thinking up ways to make all of the textures come together. I thought about trying to keep everything around the same consistent color but I'm not sure how well it will work out as everything has a red tint to it.
This week, I have been working on assets for SKEER. I am currently trying to animate a torch, seen below, an I have finished making door assets for now. I am planning to make furniture assets after I finish the torch asset. Currently, Manny is working on fixing the character sprite and also doing the code.
This week, Manny and I have gotten a lot done. We got together and talked about the direction our game was heading and what we needed to do next. As far as big changes go, we have decided to switch to 3/4 view. Because of this, we are needing to change some of the assets.
